Traditional venture capital decides who gets discovered behind closed doors. VentureStaking changes that.

The Chicago Arena is a community of members who collectively discover, evaluate, and support early-stage founders from the Chicago region. Instead of relying on warm intros and gatekeepers, VentureStaking lets the community surface the best ideas through structured discovery rounds.

Every member has a voice. Every founder gets a fair shot. The community decides who rises.
How It Works
VentureStaking® in Three Steps
VentureStaking is designed to be simple enough for anyone to participate, regardless of investing experience.

Commit VentureStakes
When you join as a founding member, you commit VentureStakes to the Arena. Each VentureStake costs $10 and represents your participation weight in discovery rounds.

Participate in Discovery Rounds
Once the Arena activates at 50,000 committed VentureStakes, founders submit their ventures. Members review deals, place VentureStakes on the founders they believe in, and the community surfaces the strongest opportunities.

Shape the Outcome
Top-staked founders advance through the community's discovery process. If a Reg CF round opens, members may have the opportunity to invest starting at $100. Participation is never guaranteed or required.
Global Cooperative
Chicago Is Part of Something Bigger
The Chicago Arena doesn't operate in isolation. It's part of the Doriot Global Cooperative — a worldwide network of VentureStaking Arenas working together to transform founder discovery.

City Arenas like Chicago focus on discovering local founders. Sector Arenas target specific industries. Global Arenas unite communities across borders.

Together, these Arenas form a cooperative infrastructure where every Arena benefits from the collective intelligence of the network. Founders discovered in Chicago can gain visibility across the entire Doriot ecosystem.

The cooperative model means no single entity controls the platform. Members are the owners. The more Arenas that form, the stronger the network becomes for everyone.
